After months of rigorous testing in San Francisco using Lucid Gravity SUVs outfitted with cutting-edge self-driving systems, progress has been significant. Uber employees have already test-driven the Lucid robotaxis, though full driverless operation remains in the future, pending further validations. Nuro recently received a crucial permit from California authorities, allowing for the potential removal of safety drivers from their vehicles.
