In a devastating turn of events, renowned musician Oliver Tree has been confirmed dead following a helicopter collision in Brazil, a tragic incident that has left fans and the music industry reeling. The singer-songwriter, 32, was one of six people aboard the aircraft when it collided with another helicopter over Rio de Janeiro on Sunday.
Witnesses reported seeing one of the helicopters plummet from the sky, crashing into a car park and igniting a fierce blaze that enveloped approximately 20 vehicles. Eyewitness footage circulated by Brazilian media captures the horrifying moment, showcasing plumes of thick smoke rising from the crash site, while emergency services rushed to respond. Local authorities state that investigations into the cause of the collision are currently underway.
The Military Fire Department of the State of Rio de Janeiro responded to the incident at around 09:00 local time (12:00 GMT). Among those believed to be on board with Tree was Argentine content creator Gaspar Prim Diaz, known as Gaspi. The passenger list also included Lucas Brito Chaves, Lucas Vignale, and pilot Alexandre Souza, while the second helicopter's crew consisted solely of pilot Charles Marsillac.

Born Oliver Tree Nickell in Santa Cruz, California, Tree initially garnered fame in 2016 through social media, captivating audiences with his eclectic style and poignant lyrics.
